I love the LOTR movies - forever my comfort movies. The changes they made from the book make sense (even if I would have loved to see some characters from the books).
The Hobbit movies on the other hand...I'm the wrong person to ask - haha! Just not a fan of all they changed.
At age 32 I'm finally getting around to reading the Lord of the Rings.
Reading a one-volume paperback my parents bought me so long ago that the cover says "Soon to be a major motion picture trilogy from New Line Cinema."
