It’s time for another book club discussion! And look at me…two videos in a row :). I’m looking forward to hearing your thoughts on these four chapters. Here are a few general thoughts from me first:
Now on to discussions! Excited to hear your thoughts.
Lucy teaches us so much early on, while Edmund gets nastier as they are telling their siblings about Narnia. What can we learn from her about sticking to the truth?
Why do you think Narnia wasn’t “open” the first time Lucy tried to show her siblings?
At the end of chapter 5, Lewis writes “that some magic in the house has come to life and was chasing them into Narnia…” I love that! What does that say about how God (Aslan) guides us?
Peter is quick to ask for forgiveness once he realizes Lucy was right about Narnia. Why is it important to lead life this way when we we find ourselves in the wrong?
In chapter 8, we hear the famous line “Who said anything about safe? Course he isn’t safe. But he’s good” when the beavers are talking about Aslan. What does this mean to you?
Thanks for joining in!
Also, I will be taking off April as there are some upcoming happenings that will take quite a bit of my time (all good things!). But I will be back in May with plenty of new posts.
